I’m excited that Haute Artist has decided to feature Peanutbutter Moon for National Stamp Month. Visit the site at www.hauteartist.blogspot.com and scroll down to the September 4th entry. We think the project is simply adorable. And, we can’t wait to try the crayon resist technique.
Thanks Haute Artist!

It’s taken me a good two weeks to get my energy back. I didn’t realize how much I wore myself out getting ready for our first show. Now that I have some breathing time, I can turn my attention back to some more creative endeavors.
Lately I’ve been playing with glass jewelry. I’m very much still new to the process and am trying to work out the kinks, but hopefully I’ll have something beautiful to share very soon.
I’ve also been working on the next series of rubber stamps. I have a lot of ideas swirling in my head - I just need to get them down on paper so Vince can work his magic and turn them into stamps.
So much to do . . . do little time.
What are you working on?

We had our first show last weekend. It was the Heirloom Pro show in Grapevine, Texas.
I have to say that we did NOT know what to expect. You would think that, with all the shows mom and I have attended, we’d be old pros, but I’m here to tell you that it’s a completely different experience being a vendor instead of a customer.
We definately made some rookie mistakes. Hopefully you’ll learn from these if you ever decide to do your own show.
1. We realized on day two that we didn’t have our stamps out! Considering we were at a stamp show, this was a pretty dumb mistake to make. It was amazing how much our sales improved on day two.
2. What we expected would fly off the shelves didn’t. That last minute item that I grabbed on the way out the door thinking no one would want it did. Bizarre.
3. There is not enough time to shop, eat, shop, go to the restroom, shop, rest, shop . . . I tell you, as an addict, it was very difficult knowing I could not go hit all the other vendor’s booths for hours and hours and hours. Still, I managed to spend some serious funds in brief, 10 minute spurts.
Despite some of our rookie mistakes, we still had a great show and are looking forward to the next one. It was so much fun connecting with other stampers, scrapers and artists. My biggest disapointment was that it was only two days.

Welcome to Peanutbutter Moon’s new blog!
If you’ve ever met me, you know how much I love to talk and write. And, if you haven’t met me, you’ll find that out soon enough. . .
I hope this is a place you’ll visit often. And, I love it when you post comments. I must warn you, however, I can be a little goofy at times. I love to laugh at myself, so feel free to laugh at me too.
